Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the sense of love for the homeland among students at SD Negeri 19 Sungai Geringging through a learning approach based on the values of nationalism. The study involves 21 students and focuses on fostering national pride and patriotism by integrating nationalist values into the learning process. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The intervention includes activities such as flag-raising ceremonies, discussions on national heroes, and projects that emphasize the importance of national unity and diversity. Data were collected through observations, student feedback, and assessments, which showed a significant improvement in students' attitudes towards their country and the appreciation of their national identity. The findings suggest that a learning approach based on the values of nationalism, combined with active involvement in activities related to the nation, can effectively increase students' love for the homeland. This research contributes to the development of strategies for teaching nationalism in primary schools, helping to nurture a generation that is proud of their country and committed to its future.
