Abstract





This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the Tafsir of Surah Al-Fatihah at SDN 05 V Koto Timur, involving 23 students. The research focuses on implementing interactive learning strategies to deepen students' comprehension of the meaning and significance of Surah Al-Fatihah, a foundational chapter in the Quran. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. During the intervention, students engaged in activities such as group discussions, role-playing, and Quranic recitation to explore the tafsir of the Surah and its application in daily life. Data were collected through observations, student feedback, and assessments, which showed significant improvements in students' understanding of the Surah's meaning and its impact on their behavior. The findings suggest that interactive learning strategies effectively promote a deeper connection to Islamic teachings, especially in the context of understanding the Qur'an. This research contributes to developing effective teaching methods for Quranic studies in primary schools, helping students internalize and apply the messages of Surah Al-Fatihah in their lives.
