Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding and application of "Adab Bertamu" (Etiquette of Visiting) in SDN 16 Ranah Batahan through the implementation of a Collaborative Learning approach. The primary objective of this research is to enhance students' knowledge of proper visiting etiquette, which is essential in fostering respect and good manners in social interactions. The research utilizes collaborative learning techniques, where students work in groups to engage in discussions, role-playing, and peer teaching activities to explore and practice visiting etiquette in various real-life scenarios. Data is collected through observations, interviews, and reflections from both students and teachers, which are analyzed to assess the improvement in students' ability to apply appropriate etiquette during visits. The results of this research are expected to demonstrate the effectiveness of the Collaborative Learning approach in promoting positive social behaviors, particularly in the context of manners and respect. It is hoped that the findings of this study will contribute to the development of effective teaching methods for character education, specifically in instilling important values such as courtesy and social responsibility in elementary school students.
