Abstract





This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the wisdom and benefits of fasting during Ramadan at UPT SMPN 1 Sutera through the use of the lecture method. The main objective of this study is to deepen students' knowledge about the religious and spiritual significance of fasting, focusing on its moral and health benefits. The research utilizes a lecture-based approach, where students are provided with detailed explanations, discussions, and reflections on the values of fasting in Ramadan. Data is collected through observations, student feedback, and reflective journals, which are analyzed to assess improvements in students' understanding of the topic. The results of this research are expected to demonstrate the effectiveness of the lecture method in imparting knowledge and fostering awareness among students about the importance of fasting, both from a religious and practical perspective. This research will provide insights into how the lecture method can be effectively used in character education to instill values such as self-discipline, gratitude, and empathy in students during Ramadan.
