Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the virtues of the holy month of Ramadan at SD YPTSS Sungai Kunyit through the use of the lecture method. The primary objective of this study is to deepen students' awareness of the spiritual, social, and personal significance of Ramadan. The research employs a lecture-based approach, where the teacher explains the religious and cultural importance of Ramadan, followed by student discussions and reflections. Data is collected through observations, student feedback, and reflective journals to evaluate improvements in students' knowledge and attitudes toward the month of Ramadan. The expected outcome is to demonstrate the effectiveness of the lecture method in conveying key aspects of Ramadan and instilling a deeper understanding among students. This research is significant in highlighting the role of the lecture method in religious education, particularly in explaining abstract concepts such as the virtues of Ramadan. The findings of this study will offer insights into how traditional teaching methods can still be effective in fostering moral and spiritual growth in students.
