Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of the story of Prophet Adam A.S. through the implementation of a collaborative learning model at SDN 11 V Koto Kampung Dalam, with 17 students in the class. The research is conducted in two cycles, each consisting of four stages: planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the first cycle, the students are introduced to the story of Prophet Adam A.S., focusing on the key lessons and values. In the second cycle, the students engage in group discussions and collaborative activities to deepen their understanding. The collaborative learning model encourages students to work together, share ideas, and discuss the moral lessons from the story. The findings indicate that the use of collaborative learning effectively enhances students' comprehension of the story, as well as their ability to apply the lessons learned in their daily lives. The research also highlights the importance of student engagement and active participation in the learning process. This study suggests that collaborative learning can be an effective approach to teaching religious education in elementary schools, as it fosters teamwork, critical thinking, and deeper understanding.
