Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the funeral prayer (Shalat Jenazah) through an experiential learning model at SDN 24 V Koto Kampung Dalam. The study focuses on providing students with a hands-on learning experience, where they actively engage in the process of performing Shalat Jenazah. The experiential learning model allows students to directly participate in the ritual, deepening their understanding of its significance in Islam and developing their empathy and respect for the deceased. The research involves two cycles, each including planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data will be collected through observations, interviews, and pre- and post-tests to assess students' knowledge, skills, and attitudes toward Shalat Jenazah. This research aims to explore how experiential learning can improve students' religious education, particularly in fostering a deeper connection to rituals and enhancing their moral development. The findings will contribute to the development of more effective teaching strategies in religious education at the elementary school level.
