Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of "Akhlak Terhadap Orang Tua" (Good Character Towards Parents) through a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model at MI AD Dainuriyah Kota Semarang. The study focuses on fostering students' moral values and respectful behavior towards their parents by addressing real-life problems related to family relationships. The Problem-Based Learning model encourages students to explore, discuss, and reflect on issues that directly impact their understanding of how to treat parents with kindness and respect. This research will be conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data will be collected through observations, interviews, and pre- and post-tests to assess the students' understanding of good character and their ability to apply these values in their daily lives. The objective of this research is to examine how PBL can effectively enhance students' moral development, particularly in fostering respectful attitudes towards their parents. The findings will provide insights into the potential of PBL in character education and help develop more effective teaching strategies for fostering positive moral values in elementary education.
