Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) focuses on enhancing students' understanding of Iman kepada Hari Akhir (Faith in the Hereafter) through the application of the Direct Instruction model at SD Negeri 07 Gunung Tuleh. The study aims to explore how direct instruction, a structured and teacher-centered approach, can improve students' comprehension of this essential Islamic concept. The research is conducted in cycles consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data will be collected through observations, student assessments, and feedback to evaluate the effectiveness of the direct instruction model in enhancing student understanding and engagement. The expected outcomes include a deeper understanding of the concept of Iman kepada Hari Akhir, improved retention of religious knowledge, and increased student participation in the learning process. This research seeks to contribute to the development of more effective instructional strategies in teaching religious education, particularly in conveying abstract concepts such as belief in the afterlife, to young learners in elementary school.
