Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of Zakat Fitrah through the implementation of a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model at UPT SDN 03 Lunang. The study seeks to explore how PBL, an approach that encourages students to solve real-world problems, can enhance their comprehension of religious concepts such as Zakat Fitrah. The research will be conducted in cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Data will be collected through observations, student assessments, and reflections to evaluate the effectiveness of PBL in increasing student engagement, understanding, and application of the concept of Zakat Fitrah. The expected outcomes include improved student participation, better retention of religious knowledge, and the ability to connect theoretical concepts with practical applications in their lives. This research aims to provide valuable insights into the role of PBL in religious education and its potential to foster deeper learning and critical thinking among elementary school students.
