Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) focuses on the implementation of the inquiry-based learning model to enhance students' understanding and practice of the concept of "Amanah" (trustworthiness) at MTs Nurul Islam Arjasari. The research aims to foster a deeper comprehension of the importance of maintaining trust in both personal and social contexts. The inquiry-based approach encourages students to explore, question, and reflect on real-life situations where trust is essential, thereby promoting critical thinking and active engagement. The study follows a cyclical process of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting, with data collected through observations, interviews, and assessments. The research seeks to identify the effectiveness of the inquiry model in improving students' behavior and internalizing the value of Amanah. The findings of this study are expected to provide insights into how inquiry-based learning can contribute to character education, specifically in promoting ethical values among students. This research aims to offer valuable recommendations for educators to integrate the concept of Amanah into their teaching practices more effectively.
