Abstract





This Classroom Action Research (CAR) focuses on the implementation of a differentiated learning model to foster respect for others among students at MAN 1 Kutai Kartanegara. The primary objective of this study is to enhance students' interpersonal skills and respect for others by adapting the teaching approach to meet their diverse learning needs. Differentiated learning allows for tailoring instruction based on students’ interests, learning styles, and readiness levels, thereby promoting a more inclusive and respectful classroom environment. The research adopts a cyclical process consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection, with data collected through classroom observations, student feedback, and interviews. The findings of this study aim to provide insights into the effectiveness of differentiated instruction in developing students' social-emotional skills, particularly their ability to respect and appreciate differences. The results indicate a positive impact on students' attitudes toward respecting others, as well as increased participation and engagement in class activities. The study recommends integrating differentiated learning strategies in character education programs to foster a more respectful and empathetic school culture.
