Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to explore the effectiveness of the Constructivist Learning model in improving students' behavior in maintaining cleanliness at SDN 05 Ombak Kubu. The study focuses on promoting the value of cleanliness, which is essential for students' health and well-being, and aims to foster a deeper understanding and responsibility toward maintaining a clean environment. The research was conducted in two cycles, each involving planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and surveys to assess students' behavior before and after the application of the Constructivist Learning model. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' awareness and behavior in maintaining cleanliness, as they were actively involved in discovering and applying the principles of cleanliness through hands-on activities and collaborative learning. This research demonstrates that Constructivist Learning can enhance students' motivation and engagement by encouraging them to explore and construct knowledge independently. It is hoped that the results of this study can contribute to the development of effective learning strategies for promoting positive behaviors, particularly in environmental education.
