Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) focuses on enhancing students' understanding of Tauhid and the concept of deviations in Aqidah through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model at UPT SDN 28 Pasar Surantih. The study aims to connect Islamic teachings with real-life experiences, allowing students to better relate to and understand the concepts of faith (Tauhid) and the importance of avoiding misconceptions in Aqidah. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through classroom observations, student interviews, and surveys to assess students' engagement, comprehension, and behavior before and after the intervention. The findings indicate significant improvement in students' ability to grasp the significance of Tauhid and the dangers of deviations in Aqidah. By integrating real-world examples and encouraging active participation, the CTL model facilitated a deeper understanding and application of these concepts. The results suggest that the CTL model is an effective approach to teaching religious concepts such as Tauhid, as it fosters a more personalized and meaningful learning experience for students.
