Abstract

This research aims to explore the implementation of the Constructivist Learning Model in improving students' understanding of the proper conduct in seeking knowledge (adab menuntut ilmu) at SMA Negeri 1 Ranah Batahan. The study involves 15 students and adopts a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, which consists of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The main objective is to enhance students' awareness and practice of ethical principles related to acquiring knowledge. The research also seeks to determine whether the Constructivist Learning Model can foster a more active, reflective, and meaningful learning environment. Data collection methods include observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The findings are expected to show that the Constructivist approach encourages students to engage in the learning process more effectively, promoting deeper understanding and appreciation of the values in seeking knowledge. By focusing on student-centered learning, this study contributes to the development of strategies for teaching adab menuntut ilmu in a more interactive and constructive manner.
