Main Article Content
Abstract
This research aims to explore the implementation of the Constructivist Learning model in enhancing students' understanding of the Hikmah Puasa (the wisdom of fasting) at SD Negeri 17 Kauman. The study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, with two cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The primary objective is to examine whether the Constructivist model can improve students' comprehension and internalization of the wisdom behind fasting, as well as how this understanding can be applied to their daily lives. Data is collected through direct observations, interviews with students and teachers, and pre- and post-tests to measure changes in students' knowledge and attitudes. The findings are expected to show that the Constructivist approach, which emphasizes active student engagement and problem-solving, fosters deeper learning and better retention of the concepts of fasting. Students will not only understand the theoretical aspects but also be able to apply these insights practically. This research is intended to contribute to the development of effective teaching strategies for religious education, especially in helping young learners connect spiritual practices with life lessons.
