Abstract
This research aims to explore the implementation of the Cooperative Learning model in enhancing students' understanding of the importance of religious knowledge at SDN 10 Jati Hilir. The study uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) methodology, which involves two cycles of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The main objective is to assess whether the Cooperative Learning model can improve students' engagement and comprehension of the significance of religious knowledge in their daily lives. The research focuses on fostering collaboration among students through group activities, where they can discuss, explore, and share their perspectives on religious topics. Data collection methods include classroom observations, student interviews, and pre- and post-tests to measure changes in their understanding and attitudes toward religious knowledge. The findings are expected to show that cooperative learning promotes active student participation, enhances critical thinking, and helps students connect religious knowledge with their personal experiences. This research aims to contribute to the development of effective teaching strategies for religious education, especially in fostering a deeper appreciation of religious knowledge among elementary school students.
