Pemahaman Makna dan Arti Surah Al-Fatihah melalui Metode Ceramah di UPT SDN 01 Asam Kumbang: Peningkatan Kesadaran Siswa tentang Esensi Doa

Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of the meaning and interpretation of Surah Al-Fatihah at UPT SDN 01 Asam Kumbang through the lecture method. Surah Al-Fatihah is a fundamental chapter in the Quran, often referred to as the essence of Islamic teachings, and its understanding is crucial for students in developing their religious knowledge and spiritual practices. This research was conducted with 30 students from grade 5, and the study was carried out in two cycles. The first cycle focused on delivering the basic meaning and interpretation of Surah Al-Fatihah through lectures, while the second cycle involved further deepening the discussion and practical application of its meanings. Data collection methods included pre- and post-tests, observations, and interviews. The findings show a significant improvement in students' understanding of Surah Al-Fatihah, as well as an increase in their ability to articulate its meaning and use it in daily life. The study demonstrates the effectiveness of the lecture method in enhancing students' comprehension of key religious texts and its potential to improve students' Islamic knowledge and spiritual development
