Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of Islamic dress code (Berpakaian Islami) at SD 01 YTKA through the implementation of the Inquiry-Based Learning model. Islamic clothing guidelines are an essential part of Islamic teachings that students need to understand in order to practice modesty and piety in their daily lives. This study involves 30 students from grade 5 and is conducted over two cycles. The first cycle introduces the concept of Islamic clothing through inquiry activities where students explore the principles of modesty and appropriate attire in Islam through guided questions and group discussions. In the second cycle, the activities are enriched by allowing students to conduct research, present findings, and engage in discussions to deepen their understanding. Data is collected through pre- and post-tests, observations, and interviews to assess changes in students' knowledge and attitudes towards Islamic dress codes. The findings show significant improvements in students' understanding of the importance of wearing Islamic clothing and how it reflects Islamic values. This study demonstrates that Inquiry-Based Learning is an effective method to engage students actively and promote deeper understanding of Islamic teachings in a way that is both relevant and applicable to their lives.
