Penguatan Pemahaman Kisah Para Sahabat Nabi melalui Metode Ceramah di MAN 2 Kota Payakumbuh: Membangun Karakter Generasi Islami

Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of the stories of the Prophet's companions (Sahabah) through the lecture method at MAN 2 Payakumbuh. The research focuses on how the lecture method can help students grasp the values and lessons embedded in the lives of these key figures in Islamic history. The study is based on the observation and analysis of students' responses and comprehension before and after the implementation of the method. Data was collected through pre- and post-tests, student questionnaires, and teacher reflections. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding and appreciation of the stories of the Sahabah. Students became more engaged and motivated to apply the lessons learned from the companions’ lives in their daily behavior. This research concludes that the lecture method, when used effectively, can significantly enhance students' knowledge and character development, especially in the context of religious education.
