Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of Hadith regarding good behavior through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model at MA At-Tadzkir Kaliaren. The research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The PBL model encourages students to actively engage in solving real-life problems related to the teachings of Hadith, fostering a deeper understanding of moral values. Data were collected through observation sheets, interviews, and questionnaires to evaluate the students' engagement and comprehension of the material. The results showed a significant improvement in students' understanding of the Hadith about good behavior, as they became more involved in group discussions and problem-solving activities. The PBL model helped students apply the moral teachings of Hadith to real-world situations, making the learning process more relevant and impactful. This research highlights the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning model in making religious education more engaging and helping students internalize the teachings of Islam. The findings suggest that incorporating PBL into religious education can be an effective strategy to improve students' understanding and application of Islamic values.
