Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' understanding of Hadith regarding Zakat through active learning strategies at SD IT Pelita Cendikia. The study focuses on engaging students in interactive learning experiences to foster a deeper comprehension of the significance of Zakat as taught in the Hadith. The research employs various active learning methods, such as group discussions, role-playing, and problem-solving tasks, to encourage students to actively participate in the learning process. This approach is expected to help students connect the teachings of Hadith to real-life practices and instill the values of Zakat in their daily lives. The research was conducted in two cycles, with data collected through observation, interviews, and student assessments. The results show that the active learning strategies successfully improved students’ knowledge and application of Hadith about Zakat, as well as their motivation to practice it. This study highlights the importance of incorporating active learning techniques in religious education to enhance students’ engagement and understanding.
