Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) focuses on enhancing students' understanding of noble character (Akhlak Terpuji) in Islam through Problem-Based Learning (PBL) at UPT SDN 04 Airpura. The aim of the research is to foster moral values among students by engaging them in real-world problems that challenge them to apply Islamic teachings in everyday life. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. The data was collected using observations, interviews, and student reflections. The results show that the application of PBL significantly increased students' awareness of the importance of noble character in Islam. It also improved their problem-solving skills, as they actively participated in discussions and reflected on how Islamic moral values could be applied to contemporary issues. The findings suggest that PBL is an effective teaching strategy for instilling moral values, specifically Akhlak Terpuji, in primary school students, by encouraging critical thinking and the practical application of religious principles. This research contributes to the field of character education by demonstrating the effectiveness of Problem-Based Learning in teaching Islamic ethics.
