Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance students' motivation and learning outcomes in Mathematics through the implementation of interactive digital game-based learning at MIS Darussalam Sungai Salak, Riau. The study was conducted in two cycles, following the stages of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Digital games designed for educational purposes were integrated into Mathematics lessons to create a fun, engaging, and interactive learning environment. Data were collected through observation checklists, student questionnaires, and learning outcome tests. The results show a significant increase in students' interest and enthusiasm for participating in class activities. Students who were previously passive became more active and motivated to complete tasks, particularly when challenged through game-based exercises. Additionally, test scores improved in each cycle, indicating a positive impact on students' understanding of mathematical concepts. Teachers also reported a more dynamic classroom atmosphere and easier classroom management. This study concludes that interactive digital games can be an effective instructional tool to foster student engagement, enhance conceptual understanding, and improve learning outcomes in Mathematics, especially at the elementary level.
