Urgensi Bimbingan dan Konseling di Panti Asuhan Putra Muhammadiyah Lubuk Basung

Abstract

The Muhammadiyah Lubuk Basung Orphanage for Boys serves as both a residence and a training ground for foster children with diverse backgrounds, where every form of training provided will influence their development. Due to the diverse backgrounds and differences of each foster child, counselling is necessary. Counselling is the process of helping someone understand themselves and their surroundings. This research will use a descriptive qualitative approach. This approach will allow the researcher to gain an in-depth understanding of the urgency of guidance and counselling at the Muhammadiyah Lubuk Basung Putra Orphanage. Guidance and counselling services at the Muhammadiyah Lubuk Basung Putra Orphanage are provided with the aim of expanding the children's horizons, helping them overcome various problems they face in personal, social, academic, and career areas, and training their communication skills.
