Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) study investigates the implementation of interactive storytelling as an innovative teaching method to enhance the understanding of noble character (akhlak mulia) among 20 students at RA Perwanida Buntok. The primary objective of this research is to assess how interactive storytelling, based on Islamic values, can help students internalize moral concepts such as honesty, kindness, and respect. Data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers, and student surveys to evaluate changes in students' behavior and character. The results show that interactive storytelling significantly improved students’ comprehension of Islamic moral values, as they actively engaged with the story and reflected on the lessons learned. Furthermore, the approach made learning more enjoyable and accessible for young children, allowing them to better apply the values in their daily lives. This study concludes that interactive storytelling is an effective method to promote moral development and character education in early childhood settings. The findings suggest that this method can be a valuable tool for teaching noble character and Islamic values in RA Perwanida Buntok and similar educational institutions.
