Abstract
This study aims to implement a character-based learning approach to enhance the understanding of Akidah Akhlak among sixth-grade students at MIS Tarbiyatussibyan. Akidah Akhlak is a vital aspect of Islamic education that emphasizes the development of faith and good character. However, many students struggle to connect these teachings to their everyday lives. This research introduces a new approach that integrates character values into the learning process, making lessons more relatable and practical. The project uses real-life case studies and discussions to help students apply Akidah Akhlak principles in various contexts. Data were collected through classroom observations, interviews, and student assessments. The results show significant improvements in students' understanding of Akidah Akhlak as well as their ability to reflect these values in their behavior. The study concludes that incorporating character-based learning enhances both the cognitive and moral development of students, making the teachings of Akidah Akhlak more meaningful and applicable to their daily lives.
