Abstract

This study aims to explore the application of game-based learning to enhance the interest and language skills of children in RA Nurul Hidayah. Language development is crucial in early childhood education, and engaging methods are necessary to keep young learners motivated. Game-based learning is an effective approach that incorporates fun, interactive activities into the learning process, making it easier for children to develop language skills while enjoying the experience. The research was conducted through the implementation of educational games that focus on language acquisition, vocabulary expansion, and sentence construction. Data were collected through observations, interviews with teachers, and assessments of children’s language abilities before and after the intervention. The results of the study indicate that game-based learning significantly increased both the children’s interest in learning and their ability to use language more effectively. Children showed greater enthusiasm during language lessons and demonstrated improved verbal communication skills. This research concludes that game-based learning can be an effective tool for enhancing language development in early childhood education settings, providing a fun and engaging way to foster language skills.
