Abstract
This classroom action research aims to improve fine motor skills of children through beading (meronce) activities in Group B of RA Nurul Hikmah, Tanjung Pura, Langkat, North Sumatra. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The problem identified was the low fine motor ability of children, such as difficulty in gripping, threading, and hand coordination. Beading activities were chosen as a learning medium because they train hand-eye coordination, focus, and finger strength. Data collection techniques included observation, performance assessment, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in the children's fine motor skills. In the first cycle, children began to show better coordination, while in the second cycle, most children were able to complete beading tasks independently and precisely. The learning atmosphere also became more enjoyable and engaging. This research concludes that beading activities are effective in enhancing fine motor skills in early childhood education. It is recommended that teachers regularly integrate similar creative and hands-on activities to stimulate children's physical development, especially in motoric aspects.
