Penerapan Model Role Playing untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa terhadap Tata Cara Wudhu pada Mata Pelajaran Fikih di Kelas III MI Mansyaul Ulum

Abstract
This classroom action research aims to improve students’ understanding of the procedures of wudhu (ablution) through the implementation of the Role Playing learning model in Grade III at MI Mansyaul Ulum. The study was motivated by the fact that many students had difficulty comprehending the correct steps and intentions involved in performing wudhu, despite having learned the theory in class. This research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The Role Playing method was applied by involving students in simulating the correct steps of wudhu in groups, using real or improvised tools. Students were encouraged to practice while also explaining each step in front of the class. Data were collected through observation, student performance assessments, and teacher reflections. The results showed a significant improvement in both student engagement and understanding. In the first cycle, 54% of students met the minimum competency standard, which increased to 88% in the second cycle. The Role Playing model not only improved students’ mastery of the content but also boosted their confidence and enthusiasm in learning Fikih.
