Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of Akhlak (moral conduct) in speaking through the implementation of a Constructivist Learning approach at SD Negeri 17 Lembah Melintang. The focus of this study is to foster moral values related to communication, encouraging students to express themselves in a respectful, honest, and appropriate manner, in line with Islamic teachings. The research was conducted in two cycles, each involving planning, action, observation, and reflection. During each cycle, students engaged in various activities that emphasized constructive communication, such as role-playing, discussions, and peer feedback. Data was collected through observations, interviews, and reflective journals from both students and teachers. The findings showed significant improvements in students' speaking behavior, with greater awareness of Akhlak in communication. They demonstrated more respectful and thoughtful expressions, both in classroom interactions and outside school. This study suggests that a Constructivist Learning approach is effective in promoting moral development in students, especially in their verbal expressions. It highlights the importance of an interactive, student-centered learning environment for shaping positive communication behaviors.
