Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to investigate the implementation of the lecture method in enhancing teachers' understanding of Akhlak (Islamic ethics) at MTsS Miftahul Ulum Assimachi. The research is conducted in two cycles, focusing on improving the moral and ethical understanding of teachers, particularly in their role as educators. Data is collected through observations, interviews, and assessments to evaluate changes in the teachers' understanding and application of Akhlak in their professional practices. The findings show that the lecture method effectively facilitates the delivery of theoretical concepts about Akhlak to teachers. Through structured lectures, teachers gain a better understanding of ethical values such as honesty, integrity, and respect, which are essential in their role as models for students. Additionally, the study highlights that while the lecture method is effective for conveying information, it must be supplemented with practical examples and discussions to ensure better internalization and application of Akhlak in daily interactions. The results indicate that improving teachers' understanding of Akhlak through the lecture method can positively influence their behavior and teaching practices. This study concludes that the lecture method is a useful tool for enhancing teachers' moral and ethical competencies at MTsS Miftahul Ulum Assimachi.
