Abstract

This review examines the development of theories and practices in educational psychology and their implementation in contemporary educational and learning processes, with a particular focus on teacher interventions, feedback, the use of technology, the well-being of students and educators, and contextual factors influencing effectiveness. Based on a systematic analysis of the literature published between 2010 and 2025, the findings reveal that although educational psychology theories have advanced significantly, their implementation in practice is often hindered by insufficient teacher training, limited resources, and institutional constraints. The review also identifies research gaps in long-term evaluation and in understanding the impact of educational psychology beyond traditional school contexts (e.g., extended education). The conclusion emphasizes that to strengthen the impact of educational psychology, implementation approaches must account for fidelity, contextual adaptation, and continuous professional support.
