Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve the understanding and skills of students in performing Salah (prayer) in the fifth grade at UPT SD Negeri 14 Koto Nan Tigo. The research focuses on utilizing creative learning strategies, particularly through the use of visual media, to enhance students' comprehension of the prayer movements and meanings. The main goal is to make the learning process more engaging and effective by integrating visual aids such as pictures and diagrams. The study involves a cycle of planning, action, observation, and reflection, which are typical stages of the CAR model. By observing the students' progress, the researcher will assess whether the use of visual media can increase student participation and mastery in performing Salah correctly. Data will be collected through observations, interviews, and quizzes to evaluate students' understanding before and after the intervention. The results of this study are expected to contribute to improving the quality of Islamic Education teaching methods and provide a more interactive approach to religious education in elementary schools.
