Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the understanding of Akidah Akhlak among students at MTs Raudhatul Ulum through the application of group discussion methods. The study was conducted with a focus on improving students' moral and religious comprehension, which is a central part of their curriculum. The research utilizes a systematic approach, involving the identification of learning barriers, the implementation of a collaborative learning strategy, and the evaluation of its effectiveness. Data were collected through observations, tests, and student feedback. The results indicate a significant improvement in student engagement and comprehension of Akidah Akhlak concepts. The group discussion method encouraged active participation, fostered critical thinking, and promoted peer learning. This study highlights the importance of innovative teaching methods in enhancing religious and moral education in Islamic junior high schools. The findings provide valuable insights for educators seeking to improve the quality of Akidah Akhlak teaching in similar contexts.
