Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the social skills of early childhood students at RA Uswathun Hasanah through role-playing activities. The study was conducted to address challenges in the development of social behaviors such as communication, cooperation, and empathy among young learners. The research adopts a qualitative approach, using observation, interviews, and documentation as data collection methods. The role-playing method was implemented in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The results indicate a significant improvement in the social skills of the children, with increased interaction and cooperative behavior during play activities. The role-playing approach allowed students to practice real-life situations in a controlled, supportive environment, fostering better communication and problem-solving abilities. These findings suggest that role-playing is an effective method for promoting social development in early childhood education. This study provides valuable insights for educators in RA Uswathun Hasanah and other similar institutions to apply interactive, play-based methods for enhancing social and emotional skills in young learners.
