Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance the understanding of Fiqh among second-grade students at MI Al-Husaeni 2 by implementing the cooperative learning model. The primary challenge identified was the students' limited ability to apply Fiqh concepts in daily religious practices, such as prayer, fasting, and zakat. The study is designed in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The cooperative learning model is selected for its potential to foster collaborative learning and allow students to engage actively in discussions and practical demonstrations. Data collection methods include observation, written tests, and practical assessments of students' application of Fiqh principles. The results indicate significant improvement in students' ability to understand and practice Fiqh concepts. The cooperative learning environment enhanced peer-to-peer interaction and increased student motivation in learning religious practices. This research highlights the effectiveness of cooperative learning in improving Fiqh comprehension and practical application, encouraging deeper engagement among young learners in Islamic education.
