Peningkatan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah Matematika melalui Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif di Kelas III MI Ar-Rahman
Main Article Content
Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance third-grade students' problem-solving skills in Mathematics at MI Ar-Rahman by implementing the cooperative learning model. The research was motivated by the observation that many students struggled with mathematical problem-solving, particularly in applying mathematical concepts to real-life situations. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. The cooperative learning model was chosen for its potential to foster collaboration, peer support, and active learning among students. Data were collected through student observations, problem-solving tasks, and assessments to measure the students' progress. The findings indicate a significant improvement in students' ability to solve mathematical problems. The cooperative learning environment enabled students to discuss solutions, share strategies, and learn from each other, leading to a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts. This research highlights the effectiveness of cooperative learning in enhancing problem-solving skills in elementary school mathematics, fostering a student-centered approach to learning.
