Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve students' understanding of the procedures of Sholat (Islamic prayer) at MA DDI Pasangkayu using the demonstration method. The research focuses on enhancing students' practical knowledge and skills related to the proper execution of Sholat, which is a fundamental aspect of Islamic practice. The study is conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the first cycle, the demonstration method was applied, where the teacher demonstrated the correct steps of Sholat, and students were encouraged to imitate the actions. The second cycle included more interactive elements, such as peer teaching and additional feedback sessions. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the intervention. The results showed a significant improvement in students' ability to perform Sholat correctly, as well as their understanding of its spiritual significance. The study highlights the effectiveness of the demonstration method in teaching practical skills and suggests that this approach can be applied in other areas of religious education.
