Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to improve Indonesian language proficiency among students at MIS DDI Cabang Mapilli through interactive learning strategies. The study is conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. Interactive learning strategies are implemented to engage students actively in the learning process, focusing on speaking, writing, reading, and listening skills. The first cycle involves activities such as group discussions, role-playing, and interactive storytelling, which encourage students to use Indonesian in real-life contexts. The second cycle introduces more complex tasks, such as writing short essays and conducting interviews in Indonesian. Data is collected through observations, student reflections, and performance tasks to evaluate the development of students' language skills. The results show a significant improvement in students' participation, engagement, and language proficiency, with students demonstrating a higher level of confidence and fluency in both written and spoken Indonesian. This research highlights the effectiveness of interactive learning strategies in enhancing students' language skills and fostering a more engaging and dynamic classroom environment.
