Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) explores the implementation of innovative teaching methods to enhance early childhood learning at RA At Taqwa Kostrad Kebayoran Lama. The primary objective of this study is to investigate how applying creative and interactive teaching strategies can improve the learning experience for young children, particularly in developing their cognitive, social, and emotional skills. The research is conducted in two cycles, involving planning, action, observation, and reflection to assess the effectiveness of the applied methods in the classroom.

In the first cycle, various teaching techniques such as interactive storytelling, play-based learning, and group activities were integrated into the curriculum. The objective was to foster a more engaging learning environment that encourages active participation and collaboration among students. Observations during the cycle revealed that children showed increased enthusiasm and engagement with the lessons. The second cycle built upon the findings of the first, with adjustments made to further support student involvement and improve the use of learning tools.

The results of the research indicate significant improvements in students' learning outcomes. Children demonstrated better social interactions, increased communication skills, and a greater ability to work in groups. Additionally, there was a noticeable improvement in their ability to understand and retain new concepts, particularly in language development and early math skills. This study suggests that innovative and interactive teaching methods are effective in fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment for young children.
