The study focuses on adapting teaching strategies to accommodate the diverse learning needs of students, thereby fostering a more inclusive and effective learning environment. The research involved 30 students from grade 11, selected for their varying academic abilities and learning styles. Data were collected through classroom observations, student assessments, interviews, and feedback from both students and teachers. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection, to allow for continuous improvements in the teaching and learning process.
The findings indicate that the Differentiated Instruction Model significantly improved students' engagement and understanding of Quranic texts and Hadith. By tailoring content, process, and products according to individual student needs, the model enabled students with different learning styles to access and engage with the material in ways that suited them best. Students showed an increased ability to understand the teachings of Quran and Hadith, and their participation in class discussions and activities improved. The teacher's role as a facilitator was essential in guiding students through personalized learning experiences.
In conclusion, the study highlights the effectiveness of the Differentiated Instruction Model in improving Quran and Hadith learning at MA Al Hidayah Pesanggaran. The approach not only enhanced students' academic performance but also promoted a more inclusive, student-centered learning environment. It is recommended that this model be further integrated into the curriculum to support diverse learners and enhance their learning experience.
