Abstract
This research focuses on enhancing students' character and faith through the study of Akidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed and Ethics) at MA Mursyidatul Jannah. Akidah Akhlak plays a pivotal role in shaping the moral and spiritual development of Muslim students, as it serves as the foundation for their understanding of Islamic beliefs and ethical conduct. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of Akidah Akhlak education on the students' behavior, attitudes, and faith, and to identify the strategies employed by educators to effectively teach these subjects in a modern educational context.
The study utilizes a qualitative approach, incorporating observations, interviews, and questionnaires to gather data from students and teachers. This research highlights the importance of integrating both theoretical knowledge and practical application of Akidah Akhlak in everyday life. By analyzing the results, the study aims to provide recommendations for improving the teaching methods and content of Akidah Akhlak in order to foster a stronger sense of Islamic identity and ethical responsibility among students.
The findings suggest that students who receive a comprehensive education in Akidah Akhlak demonstrate better understanding, stronger faith, and improved moral behavior in their daily lives. Additionally, the study underscores the need for a more interactive and student-centered approach to teaching, as well as the importance of continuous evaluation and adaptation of teaching strategies to meet the needs of the students.
