Abstract
This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to enhance early childhood learning at RA Amal Islami Al Mumtaaz Karawang by integrating Islamic values into the educational process. Early childhood is a critical period for character development, and embedding Islamic teachings at this stage is essential for fostering moral, spiritual, and cognitive growth. The study explores how incorporating Islamic values such as honesty, kindness, responsibility, and respect can improve children's behavior, attitudes, and academic engagement.
The research involves teachers and students from RA Amal Islami Al Mumtaaz Karawang, with data collected through observations, student interviews, and assessments of their progress in various areas, including language development, social skills, and moral understanding. The study is carried out in two cycles: the first cycle focuses on the introduction of Islamic value-based learning activities such as storytelling, role play, and simple discussions about Islamic principles. After evaluating the results of the first cycle, adjustments are made for the second cycle to further strengthen the integration of Islamic values into everyday learning experiences.
The findings reveal that integrating Islamic values significantly enhances children's understanding of good behavior and helps foster a respectful and cooperative classroom environment. Children demonstrate improved emotional regulation, stronger relationships with peers, and a deeper understanding of moral principles. Additionally, the approach increases children's engagement in the learning process, making education more meaningful and applicable to their daily lives.
This research concludes that the integration of Islamic values into early childhood education at RA Amal Islami Al Mumtaaz Karawang is an effective strategy for promoting both academic and character development.
