Abstract

This Classroom Action Research (CAR) aims to explore and improve the quality of early childhood education at RA Adzikro Kusumah through the implementation of innovative teaching strategies. Early childhood education plays a vital role in shaping the cognitive, social, and emotional development of young learners. However, traditional teaching methods may not always address the diverse needs and learning styles of children at this stage. The research investigates how adopting interactive and creative teaching approaches can enhance students' engagement, understanding, and overall learning experience. The study was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection phases. Data was collected through classroom observations, teacher reflections, and student assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the strategies applied. Findings indicate that innovative teaching methods, such as play-based learning, hands-on activities, and group collaboration, significantly increased student participation and fostered a more dynamic learning environment. Students showed improved focus, enthusiasm, and the ability to work cooperatively with their peers. Moreover, the strategies encouraged critical thinking and problem-solving skills in young learners. This research highlights the importance of adapting teaching strategies to suit the developmental needs of early childhood learners, ensuring that they are not only academically prepared but also socially and emotionally well-rounded. The findings suggest that by integrating creative teaching methods into the curriculum, educators can better engage students and provide a more comprehensive and enjoyable learning experience at RA Adzikro Kusumah.
