Abstract

This classroom action research aims to enhance Grade VI students'
understanding of Shalat through the implementation of mobile
application-based educational games at SD Negeri 032 Mumugo. The
research was conducted due to the observed challenge that students found
it difficult to understand the procedural steps and significance of Shalat
using traditional teaching methods. The study was carried out in two
cycles, with each cycle involving planning, action, observation, and
reflection. The educational game application used interactive features such
as quizzes, rewards, and step-by-step guidance to teach the students about
Shalat. The findings revealed that 90% of students demonstrated a
significant improvement in understanding the correct way to perform
Shalat, as well as its spiritual importance. Moreover, students became
more engaged in the learning process and showed greater enthusiasm
towards practicing Shalat. The study concluded that mobile applicationbased educational games are an effective method for teaching complex
religious practices like Shalat, as they provide an engaging, interactive,
and fun learning experience that enhances students' retention and
understanding.
