Abstract
This study aims to explore the implementation of a 360° video-based Virtual Field Trip to enhance third-grade students' knowledge about nature at SD Negeri 025 Rambah Hilir, involving 21 students. The research uses a qualitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design. Students are engaged in virtual field trips using 360° videos, which allow them to explore various natural environments interactively, such as forests, mountains, and rivers, from the comfort of the classroom. Data collection includes observations, interviews with teachers, and student reflections to assess changes in their understanding of nature. The findings show that the use of Virtual Field Trips significantly increased students' awareness of the natural world. The immersive nature of 360° videos enabled students to explore and interact with different ecosystems, which helped them develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of nature. Additionally, students showed increased enthusiasm and engagement during the learning process. This study highlights the potential of using virtual reality tools like 360° videos to enhance environmental education, offering an innovative and engaging way to teach children about the world around them.
