Abstract

This classroom action research aims to explore the use of Islamic digital comics as a learning medium to improve students' understanding of Akhlak Terpuji (Virtuous Ethics) for fourth-grade students at SDN 005 Ujung Batu. The study involved 20 students and was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection. In the first cycle, students were taught Akhlak Terpuji using traditional methods, while in the second cycle, digital Islamic comics were introduced as the learning medium. The results showed that the use of digital comics significantly increased students' engagement and understanding of virtuous behavior, such as honesty, respect, and kindness. The comics provided visual and interactive content that made the material more accessible and appealing to students. The study concludes that digital comics are an effective medium for teaching Islamic values, improving both the students' comprehension and application of Akhlak Terpuji in their daily lives. This approach not only enhances learning but also encourages creativity and critical thinking among students.
