Abstract
This article discusses the influence of Akidah Akhlak (Islamic Creed and Ethics) learning on the development of religious morals among first-grade students at MI Al Ishlah Sindang Lengo. The background of this study is the importance of instilling religious values from an early age to shape children’s character based on Islamic teachings. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach, with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that Akidah Akhlak learning has a positive impact on students’ attitudes and behavior, such as honesty, discipline, responsibility, and politeness. Students demonstrate good development in religious morals, especially through habituation activities and contextual learning methods applied by teachers. However, a small number of students still require specific guidance to achieve optimal character growth. In conclusion, Akidah Akhlak learning is highly relevant to be implemented as part of character education from an early age. Support from teachers, parents, and the school environment plays a crucial role in the success of forming students' religious morals in a holistic and sustainable manner.
