Abstract
This study explores the application of the play-based learning method to enhance students' understanding of moral values (akhlak) at RA Perwanida Buntok. The research involves 20 students in the early childhood education setting, where play-based activities are designed to integrate Islamic moral teachings with engaging learning experiences. The primary objective is to assess how playful activities can foster an understanding of key values such as honesty, respect, and kindness among young learners. Data was collected through observations, interviews with teachers, and student assessments. The results indicate that play-based learning significantly improves the students' comprehension of these moral values, as it encourages active participation, reflection, and application of the learned values in everyday interactions. The study concludes that play-based learning is an effective and enjoyable method for introducing and instilling moral education in early childhood settings. This approach not only makes learning more engaging but also helps children internalize positive values that will guide their behavior. The study recommends the broader implementation of this method in similar educational environments to promote the development of character and moral integrity in young children.
